How
Atelis was founded :
ESCEM, well aware of
the strategic importance that Business Intelligence
has taken on in the increasingly-global economy
and ever more competitive environment, has incorporated
the "subject" as the school's flagship development
project. Initiated in September 2002 by Pierre
LARRAT, Professor at ESCEM and François DUVERGE,
Managing Director of ESCEM , the project has become
a reality.
Together,
ESCEM and its partners - Touraine Chamber of Commerce
and Industry, ACFCI, Intelleco Consultants, CRRM,
CIGREF and Mr Gérard HOFFMANN - have decided to
build a Strategic Intelligence Workshop named
ATELIS.
The partnership, which was officially signed on 17 February 2003, will enable the implementation of initiatives in the areas below, as part of the school's overall instructional mission:
academic and applied research,
engineering and consulting,
training, and more.
ATELIS addresses companies - more specifically SMEs - local governments and all interested institutions, helping them define and implement their strategic approaches and development projects.
As part of the missions it takes on, ATELIS also plans events (conferences, seminars, colloquia, etc.) on topics relating to business intelligence and awareness.
Meshed into ESCEM's new instructional project, ATELIS is designed as a full-fledged resource centre, focused on research-initiatives and services to local and regional enterprises. It will be the first-ever structure combining organisations from different horizons, both complementary and recognised in the field of strategic intelligence.
