The 2nd European Business Intelligence Symposium, which took place on 27th and 28th March 2008 in Lisbon, brought together more than 20 different nationalities.
Throughout this symposium, participants reflected on a European business intelligence model opening up new methods of experimentation for decision-makers in both the private and public sectors.
“Thanks to these meetings, the concept of business intelligence develops more and more in the minds of the economic decision-makers in economic field. France is the forerunner in this matter since the government supervises research and exchange.” said Pierre Larrat, the Director of ATELIS.
ATELIS and two Brazilian companies sa Brasiliano and S&G Gestão Tecnológica e Ambiental Ltda signed a cooperation agreement aiming at developing business intelligence training programs in Brazil.
The project of publishing a reference review is in progress. It will assemble reference articles on research and development in the field of business intelligence.
Thanks to these meetings, the network extends to other countries like Algeria and Lithuania.
The 3rd Business Intelligence symposium will take place in a Northern European country.
